2 Halku smoked his clay pipe.

3 Halku took Jhabra and made him sleep near to him. 4 He went to the mango orchard and lit the fire . Thus he kept himself warm.

Ans-: Halku wanted to give the money to Sohana because Sohna,the money lander abused him for not returning money.

Ans-: Haiku‘s wife wanted him to be a labourer after giving up farming.She wanted this because farming gives no comfort and not give sufficient food to eat.
